Yet we continue to face downloading from the province and the federal government—additional pressures put onto the city without funding to match.

I’m committed to standing up for Calgary, to the province and the federal government and ensuring we get the funding we need to fuel our growing city. It’s a fight for our city's future and the nation's prosperity. Because when Calgary thrives, the whole country benefits. And that’s why I will continue to push for the support we need to ensure our city remains a place of opportunity and innovation.
